With the AntWorks ant habitat, you can watch ants create 3-D tunnels in the amazing space gel. This miraculous gel is based on a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiment to study animal life in space and test how ants successfully tunnel in microgravity. This space-age gel serves as both habitat and nutrition for the ants. Watch as the ants turn a brick of aqua-blue gel into a fascinating colony of tunnels!

This is the first time anything has been created that enables you to view these awesome creatures at work. The AntWorks Gel is non-toxic and contains the necessary nutrients to promote healthy growth in the new colony. Watch ants live, work and tunnel in the nutritious gel as they create series upon series of intricate tunnels.

This ant habitat is easy to care for since the ants need NO food or water. The AntWorks tank dimensions are 166 x 140 x 52 mm - Ants are NOT included (you must go on your own "ant catching" adventure!)

THE BEST ANTS FOR YOUR ANTFARM:-

The best ants to use in your antfarm is the “Carpenter ants”.  These can be found in an old tree stump and they prefer dead, damp wood. They can be mistaken for “white ants / termites” but they do not eat the wood.  They will hollow out sections of trees to make their nests.
